RGS Worcester lower sixth students William Tooke and David Williams beat strong opposition from Malvern College, Malvern Girls' College and St James' School to win the first round of this year's English Speaking Union Schools Competition for Debating.
Opposing the motion that 'This House Would Elect Judges' their teamwork, incisiveness and quick-thinking made them worthy winners.
They go on to the next round early in the New Year.
