COMEDY musical act, The Singing Sous Chefs, have chosen Colwall Village Hall for the launch of their Alive Again 2006 tour.
The local trio have received critical acclaim for their unique blend of comedy and music and were featured on the BBC2 series Rick Stein's Food Heroes.
The gig on Saturday, February 4, hosted by Friends of Colwall Primary School, will take the audience on a unique trip through time, featuring songs from musical icons from the past, present and future, including The Beatles and Dionne Warwick.
Di Edmenson, chairman of the friends, said the committee wanted to put on a community event that would chase away the winter blues, and were thrilled to be chosen as a venue for the tour's opening night.
Tickets cost £10 for adults and £6 for children, including a chilli supper, from Colwall Primary School on 01684 540532.
