FAST cars, hot girls and blistering rock and roll.
No it's not the latest edition of Max Power magazine, it's the brilliant production of Grease which is currently packing them in at Birmigham's Alexandra Theatre.
The show starts off in top gear and doesn't leave the fast lane as classic song after classic song is belted out.
Grease is the Word, Summer Nights, Greased Lightnin', You're the One That I Want - they are all songs to die for and with a young and talented cast like this, you just can't go wrong.
Most of the action is set in Rydell High School where Danny, Sandy and the rest of the gang get straight As in rock and roll.
Birmingham's very own Hayley Evetts leads the line as a very convincing Sandy. Her Hopelessly Devoted To You was better than Olivia Newton John's.
The rest of the cast keep the action at full throttle. Look out for the shower scene at the Rydell High gym and Danny and Sandy at the drive-in, which had some delightful comic moments.
Grease is on at the Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham, until this Saturday (January 21). Do yourself a favour and check it out. AW
