THE village, the pub and the church could be just the inspiration you need to start planning your spring trips to Herefordshire, Worcestershire and the North Cotswolds.
Written by Roy Millar, The Village, the Church and the Pub is sold to benefit the Cobalt Appeal Fund in Cheltenham as part of their Crack Cancer Campaign across the three counties.
Roy Millar said: "I had a wonderful time travelling around our beautiful countryside and to be able to turn this enjoyment into support for such a worthy charity is very gratifying."
Roy's research took him several months and into 33 villages and he thought it churlish not to sample a drink at each local hostelry whilst there...
Roy's main passion, however, is the many beautiful churches he came across.
The book was first published in April 2004.
If you would like to follow in Roy's footsteps or if you would like to become a stockist of the book, which retails at £9.99, contact Roy Millar on 01684 892170 or telephone Zena Giles, Cobalt Appeal Fund, on 01242 535900.
