Juices look set to flow at Marr's
THE creative juices will be flowing as a cult British rock band heads on a collision course for Worcester this month for what looks set to be an explosive gig.
Juicy Lucy formed from the ashes of psychedelic pioneers and John Peel favourites The Misunderstood back in the 60s and four albums followed, none of which featured the same line-up.
After an absence of 10 years or so the band reformed and have been going strong since.
The current line-up features Ray Owen on vocals and guitar, the Mysterious Mr Fish on guitar, Fudge on bass and Fletch on drums.
For their live shows, the group dusts off material from their back catalogue, plus new material. Music fans can experience what they are all about when they play Worcester's Marr's Bar on Friday, January 13, with support coming from Worcestershire-based singer/songwriter Rob O'Neil and his band Taxi.
Doors open at 8pm and tickets are £6 in advance or £8 on the door.
