CHILDREN at Great Malvern Primary School are busy rehearsing music, poetry and dance for their carol concert.
Around 170 children, aged nine-11, will perform carols such as Once in Royal David's City and O Come All Ye Faithful.
The school choir will sing Christmas songs and year five and six pupils have prepared a dance performance of The Nutcracker.
Many of the school's instrumentalists will provide solo and group performances on violin, clarinet, flute and recorder.
Head Jonathan Sides said: "The children are all very excited and they get a tremendous buzz out of performing to an audience."
Performances are at the Pickersleigh Road school on Wednesday at 1.45pm and Thursday at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £3 (£5 for two), including refreshments, from 01684 574219 or from Tulip Laundry and Ironing in Link Top, on 01684 577617. Proceeds will go to Cancer Research UK.
