BROMYARD'S Conquest Youth Theatre has written a tailor-made rock musical - The Legend of Deadrock Manor - for performance on December 8-10.
Legend has it that on Hallowe'en, the worlds of the living and the dead are at their closest and the opportunity could arise to experience something out of the ordinary.
Most are afraid to enter Deadrock Manor, especially on this night, but will the intrepid human 'goths' even notice they are partying with werewolves, vampires, ghosts and spirits of the night?
In Act I we see the house as the human visitors see it, while Act II reveals the house transformed into something a little different...
The costumes and props have been designed and created by a team of volunteers and the dance routines choreographed by Greg Harwood.
The score is diverse and includes some classics such as Alice Cooper's Poison, Cockney Rebel's Mr Soft, Meatloaf's Deadringer for Love and a few beautiful ballads.
The backing tracks are all played and recorded by Jim Rolt, the company's talented musician/sound engineer, with vocals recorded or sung live by the company. To book call 01885 488575.
