Number 8's fourth season has opened for bookings - just days before its first anniversary.
The first live event expected to sell quickly is the premiere performance of Love, Lust & a Damn Good Chardonnay by the Hatstand Opera.
Hatstand Opera thrilled and entertained audiences in Number 8's first season and audiences insisted that they be booked for a return visit immediately.
Love, Lust and a Damn Good Chardonnay is a songbook of life's little essentials, from finding - and losing, and simply mislaying - the love of your life, to winning over the mother of all mothers-in-law.
Number 8 is also the opening venue for ACE Dance & Music's small venue tour of their gritty and powerful show REAL.
Using ACE dance and music's unique mix of African and Contemporary dance styles, and exploring both a real and a dream world, REAL asks you to look a little deeper into what you thought you knew.
The other highlight of this season is two Japanese Drummers who are performing in only three venues during their visit to England. This is a rare opportunity to hear these two unique musicians in concert Joji Hirota & Hidekazu Kato.
Number 8 has a host of films this season including Wallace & Gromit's new feature length film The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (U); The Chronicles of Narnia (tbc); Pride & Prejudice (U) and Judi Dench's new film Mrs Henderson Presents.
There is another fabulous programme of creative courses for adults including directing skills, audition skills and stage make-up. These courses are led by local production company Kayelle and a professional stage make-up company Maximum Effect.
Number 8 hasn't forgotten children with lots to do in the school holidays such as samba drumming workshops, arts and crafts, films and a wonderful theatre show called Tiger Trail presented by acclaimed children's theatre company Moby Duck.
