AN Evening of Songs on Thursday, December 1 is billed as a highlight in the winter events programme at the Elgar Birthplace Museum. Three musicians join forces to deliver an evening of voice, piano and violin.
Evelyn Nicholson (soprano) was born in Germany, grew up in Wales, and now lives in Tewkesbury.
David Ponsford (pianoforte) began his musical training as an organist at the Royal Manchester College of Music and Emmanuel College, Cambridge, and later studied harpsichord in Amsterdam.
Tickets at £7.50 to are available from the Elgar Birthplace Museum.
