NEW chairman of the Worcestershire Federation of Young Farmers' Clubs is Mike Shaw, an agricultural farm worker who also runs his own hedge-laying business.
When he took over from Dene Hazlewood at the annual meeting, Mr Shaw, a member of Crowle YFC for many years, said he was looking forward to the immense challenge of running the county with the help of his finance and general purposes committee.
Mr Hazlewood said it had been a very busy year but he had had fun, learned a lot and had made personal achievement to be proud of. "That is what YFC is all about - fun, learning and achievement," he said.
