Worcester is set for an exciting future, according to the chairman of the Worcester City Forum.
Christopher Harvey, who is the head of policy and lobbying at the Chamber of Commerce Herefordshire and Worcestershire, was re-elected as forum chairman at the organisation's annual meeting, which was held on November 8.
The Worcester City Forum brings together all the major stakeholders in the city centre in a bid to make it a succesful place for people to work, shop and spend their leisure time. It is also responsible for employing the city centre manager.
Christopher Harvey said: "I am delighted to be able to serve for another term as chair of the forum.
"The chamber has long held the belief that city centre management is an important mechanism for developing all aspects of life in our cities and towns.
"Worcester city centre is set for an exciting future with the plans for the
development of the former Royal Infirmary site, in Castle Street, for the University of Worcester, and active discussions taking place for other major investment in the city."
