GETTING STEAMED UP
FOUR-piece act The Steaming Heads will be hoping to turn up the heat in Worcester tonight as they play their first major gig in the city.
The band will be taking to the stage at 8.30pm tonight at the Marr's Bar in the city's Pierpoint Street, unleashing their brand of high-powered hillbilly punk with heavy doses of cajun, country, folk, bluegrass and rock, on an unsuspecting audience.
All of the members have previously played with other Worcestershire bands including The George Cowley Experience, Little Funk Brother and Trampus.
And the group headlined in the Marquee Tent at this year's West Malvern Festival and at Hereford's Castle Green Festival among several other gigs this year.
Support comes from Tyler Massey, who although only recently moved here from the US., is no stranger to the local music scene having played at pubs in West Malvern.
Tickets are £3 in advance and £5 on the door.
