A KIDDERMINSTER rock band will be celebrating the release of their third EP with a party tomorrow.
The Solemn Promise will be joined by Debate Escape and Fallout Theory to launch their new CD Picturesque at the Sutton Park Arms at 7.30pm.
Their line-up consists of singer, Dan Ryan, 23, bass player, Adam Element, 22, drummer, Andrew Bloy, 23 and guitarists, Chris Bailey, 23, and Alex Butcher, 23.
They have been together for two and half years and have played gigs across the Midlands and the Kidderminster Rock Festival.
Picturesque follows previous EPs, Lost for Knowledge, recorded in September, 2003, and To Be Rather Than To Seem.
It was recorded by Gethyn Woolcook and mastered by Joe Gibb, whose previous credits include Jane's Addiction, Stereophonics, Funeral for a Friend and Lost Prophets.
Alex said: "We are really proud of it. It sounds really good. It has taken six months. It is a lot more technical than the stuff we have done before."
He said the band was looking forward to the release party, adding: "It is going to be a lot of fun. We have played the Sutton Arms before and it's a really good laugh."
