Dear friend,
Confessions are tough. Real tough. But sometimes a confession can set the record straight, and I want to give credit where credit is due. Before I talk about my confession, though, let me say a few other things first.
Let me start by explaining the photograph in this letter. You know, when I meet people in town they usually say, "Oh yeah, I know you, you're Peter, the spine guy. I've seen your ad with that picture of you and the cute little boy." Well, I'm the guy on the right.
Years ago, something happened to me that changed my life forever. Let me tell you my story.
Back then I was training and playing competitive golf every week. Then I developed a terrible back condition. After playing a game of golf I would literally not be able to walk for three to four days, and then I would be able to play again on the weekends. In my case it came on suddenly. This went on for several months and eventually the problem became unbearable. The pain in my lower back was so intense I couldn't stand up straight, it hurt to breathe, and I couldn't walk. I was virtually bound to bed. I was afraid that things were going to keep getting worse, because the doctors couldn't help me.
It got so bad that the only option medical doctors could give me was surgery, and they had no guarantees. This was seriously affecting my life. I tried everything; well, I thought I had tried everything.
My mum convinced me to get my spine checked. This doctor did an exam, took some films, and then 'adjusted' my spine. The adjustments didn't hurt; they actually felt great. I got relief; I could stand up straight and walk and play golf again. It worked so well for me, and I was so impressed with the other 'miracles' I saw in his practice, that I eventually went to university to study the spine myself. And that's how it happened.
Now for little Canyon, who's in the photo next to me; he is one of my favourite patients. His mum and dad are both patients of mine and wanted him to be checked as soon as possible after he was born, as he had had a very traumatic birth. Imagine how stressful this was for his parents. When I first saw Canyon he was less than a month old, was not sleeping well and was not keeping his food down. After just a few adjustments his Mum and Dad could not believe the changes in their little boy. That seems like a small thing, but it makes a huge difference to him. Canyon and his family still get checked regularly and he is one of the healthiest little boys that I know.
It's strange how life is, because now people come to see me with their children and their back problems. Also they come to me with their neck pain, back pain, shoulder/arm pain, leg pain, nerve pain and athletic injuries, just to name a few. I get excited about the miracles I see every day...
Several times a day patients thank me for helping them with their health problems. But I can't really take the credit. My confession is that I've never healed anyone of anything. What I do is perform a specific spinal adjustment to remove nerve pressure. It's amazing what happens when you just get the body to work better. We get tremendous results. It's a simple as that!
People of all ages are taking responsibility for their own health more than ever; they are discarding the old concepts of treating symptoms and disease, in favour of a 'wellness' approach to life. That's where corrective spinal care comes in. As adults and parents, we are a nation of children who have now matured and are desperately hoping there is something better for our families. We want answers beyond medication and sick care. We want wellness!
You benefit from an amazing offer -
Look, you shouldn't have to wait endlessly, nor should it cost you an arm and a leg to correct your health. When you bring in this article, you will receive my entire new patient exam for £27, including full spine evaluation, postural assessment and x-rays if required...the whole ball of wax. This exam could cost you £150 elsewhere. But please call right away because this offer expires on December 15, 2005 and I don't want you to miss out. By the way, further care is very affordable and you'll be happy to know that I have affordable family plans. You see, I'm not trying to seduce you to come to see me with this low start-up fee, only to make it up with higher fees after that. Further care is very important to consider when making your choice of doctor.
Great care at a great fee -
Please, I hope that there's no misunderstanding about quality of care just because I have a lower exam fee. You'll get great care at a great fee. My qualifications: I'm a graduate of the prestigious Sydney University in Australia where I obtained my degree in Medical Science, and I am a member of the Association of Osteomyologists. My practice was recently awarded an international award for providing the highest standard of patient care. I've been entrusted to take care of people from tiny newborn babies to high performance athletes.
I just have that lower exam fee to help more people who need care.
