HE may have been performing non-stop since 1969, but folk musician Vin Garbutt shows no sign of slowing up.
He says his passion for what he does has kept him going over the years.
Now audiences in Worcester can see what the Middlesbrough-born artist is all about when he comes rolling in to the city for a concert at Huntingdon Hall tomorrow night.
The accomplished guitarist and whistle-player discovered folk music while he was still at school, becoming a professional musician at the tender age of 21 following several trips to Ireland in search of the deepest of his musical roots.
And throughout the 1970s his reputation grew until he became the most sought-after folk artist on the British scene.
Vin is no stranger to Worcester, having played the city on several occasions before, and his forthcoming concert at the weekend looks set to be another winner with his loyal band of fans and newcomers alike.
Tickets for the event are £9 (concessions £8), available from Huntingdon Arts Box Office.
