NORTH Country Theatre makes a return to Bosbury village hall with its new play The Imitation Game on Saturday.
Adapted from Ian McEwan's television play, and directed by Nobby Dimon, the company has turned its attentions to a more serious matter in this moving story of a young woman's experience of the Second World War.
The story is about Cathy who is keen to make a meaningful contribution to the war effort and joins the ATS against the wishes of her parents and fianc.
She becomes a wireless operator in Special Operations .
Her frustration at not being employed to her full ability, together with the tendency to speak her mind, land her in an emotional and legal minefield.
The evening begins at 7.30pm (suitable for age 12+) and tickets can be reserved by ringing 01531 640415.
