Monday, November 7. Attended a meeting of Evesham Twinning Association.

Tuesday, November 8: Spent morning doing a spot of shopping. Lunch with Evesham Rotary Club also attended by several guests followed by a presentation of a cheque for £500 for one of my charities from Karndean International Design Flooring. In the evening attended a meeting at Wickhamford Hall concerning a national inquiry on rural housing.

Wednesday, November 9: Spent most of the day catching up on housework and paperwork. Chaired a meeting of Evesham High School Governors in the evening.

Thursday, November 10: Attended a meeting of John Martin Charity Trustees.

Friday, November 11: Joined members of the Royal British Legion at Evesham War Memorial to remember all those who have lost their lives in various wars.

Saturday, November 12: Attended a rehearsal for Sunday's remembrance service. Opened the Evesham Hospital Autumn Fayre before dashing to Hampton Church to ring for a wedding. In the evening travelled to Hereford for the annual cocktail party of the Herefordshire & Worcestershire TA.

Sunday, November 13: A beautiful day to attend the annual Remembrance service at the War Memorial and later at All Saints Church, followed by the march past and salute.

A very memorable morning made special by the large attendance of veterans, standards and many local organisations. Enjoyed the Evesham United Churches choir's "Music for Remembrance and Peace" at Evesham Methodist Church - a service of music, prayers and readings.
