STOURBRIDGE will be buzzing with festive fun when the town's Christmas lights are switched on.
The Mayor of Dudley - Pedmore and Stourbridge East councillor Ian Kettle - will be lighting up his hometown when he flicks the switch at the official ceremony in the Crown Centre on Saturday December 3 at around 4.30pm.
Fireworks will light up the sky following a day's worth of festivities in the town centre.
Clowns Abbey and Teabags will bring Christmas cheer to shoppers along with a stilt-walking Santa and Beacon FM DJs.
There will also be a farmer's and arts and craft market in the Crown Centre featuring around 60 fairy-lit stalls.
Kids can also visit Santa's Grotto in the Ryemarket.
Organiser David Harcourt, the Chamber of Trade's events co-ordinator, said: "It's going to be an outstanding day."
The festivities will continue in the town on Saturday December 10 and Saturday December 17.
Choirs and bands will join entertainers to encourage Christmas spirit into frazzled festive shoppers.
There will also be a craft fair on December 10 and farmer's market on December 17.
And a carol service will be held at St Thomas' Church in Market Street in the afternoon.
Shoppers will also be able to enjoy free parking on Dudley Council car parks in the town on Saturday December 3, 10 and 17.
