ARTIST Richard Kenton Webb is exhibiting a series of 44 paintings concerned with finding a grammar of colour at the University of Gloucestershire Chapel from October 24 to November 18.
Richard moved to Gloucestershire in 1986 to take up a year's painting and teaching fellowship at Cheltenham School of Art, now the University of Gloucestershire, after receiving his MA from The Royal College of Art.
He has taught at some of the most respected colleges in the country and is currently a senior lecturer at the University of the West of England in Bristol.
He said: "The surrounding landscape of the Cotswolds has always been a huge inspiration to me.
"My painting is inspired by my love of the English landscape, a pursuit of colour and my Christian faith."
The exhibition is open daily, except Sundays, from 10am to 4pm.
