TALENTED young musical actors are getting ready to strut their stuff on a Droitwich Spa stage this month.
Members of the Norbury Theatre youth section will perform The Boy Friend for three nights from Thursday, November 17 to Saturday 19.
Featuring superb hit numbers such as 'Won't you charlaston with me', 'Never too late to fall in love', and 'The Boy Friend', this fast-moving show is a pastiche of the 1920s.
Set on the beautiful French Riviera at the 'Villa Caprice' Finishing School for Girls, the pupils are concerned with one thing - a boyfriend.
Under the tutelage of their headmistress, the formidable Madame Dubonnet, the girls are bound to succeed.
Each performance at the Friar Street theatre starts at 7.45pm and tickets cost £6 and £5.50. To book, call the box office on 01905-770154.
l A production of Emily Bronte's classic novel Wuthering Heights is set for the Norbury Theatre.
Charles Vance's adaptation is due to be staged at the Droitwich Spa venue between April 4 and 8, 2006.
There are 10 parts, four female and six male, all to be cast at an open audition at the Friar Street playhouse on Wednesday, December 7, from 7.30pm.
A read-through prior to this will take place at the theatre on Wednesday, November 23, at 7.30pm.
