THE third in the autumn series of lunchtime organ recitals at Kidderminster Town Hall will take place next Thursday.
Trevor Tipple, who is the organist at St Martin's Church in Worcester, will play from 1.10pm until 2pm.
He studied the organ with Trevor Protheroe, who was the organist at St John's Church, Worcester and later with Dr Vernon Butcher, who was the director of music at RNIB New College Worcester.
In 1966, he was appointed to St Martin's Church and reconstructed the organ there in 1975.
The organist gives many recitals around the country and has also played in Germany.
There is an admission charge for the recital but members of the Hill Organ Promotion Society, which has organised the series, are entitled to a reduction.
