A HIGH-energy soul show is on the cards for Worcester this weekend as the band the Official Receivers turn up to the city for a gig.
The group - who have already played to packed houses at various venues - will be playing the Marr's Bar tomorrow night and will be hoping to attract a similar crowd.
A string of prestigious appearances has won the Receivers a huge following. These shows include heading Birmingham's New Year's Eve celebrations in front of 70,000 people in Centenary Square in 1994 and 95 and work with Extra AM Radio.
Doors open for the gig at 8pm and tickets are £6 in advance or £8 on the door.
