THERE are recruitment agencies and there is Indigo Pink.
Whether you're looking for a job or to fill a vacancy, you will appreciate the difference at once.
No other company takes the time to get to know a client better. No other company goes to such lengths to prepare the right person for the right job. No other company completes the task with greater openness and accountability.
"The Indigo Pink difference lies in the breadth and depth of the prompt, polite service we provide," said managing director, Celinda Huband.
"In a nutshell, we are committed to detailed face-to-face briefings with every employer, taking up at least two references for each candidate, testing aptitude, skills or personality, giving candidates honest feedback and careers advice, and offering them confidence-building training programmes."
Indigo Pink is a local business with invaluable local knowledge, and it aims to meet the needs of jobseekers and employers across Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, as well as the private and public sectors.
Mrs Huband has been recruiting people since 1992, when she started Universal Locums, which provides allied health professionals such as occupational therapists and physiotherapists.
Indigo Pink, which opened this summer, specialises in permanent and temporary placements in accountancy, administration, call centres, clerical, human resources, information technology, management, sales and marketing and secretarial. Indigo Pink's unique comprehensive quality assurance policy sets out minimum service levels against which all its clients and job seekers can measure the agency's performance.
"Regular service reviews provide the perfect opportunity for employers and candidates to give us their feedback," said Mrs Huband. "We apply stringent anti-discriminatory practices and charge reasonable fees that are agreed in advance and always honoured."
Expertise at Indigo Pink extends beyond everyday recruitment. It is able to keep clients up-to-date on employment law and equal opportunities legislation for example, or deliver interview technique training.
It offers candidates a range of confidence-building training programmes and employers are welcome to use the interview rooms free of charge.
As corporate members of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), Indigo Pink adheres to a strict code of conduct. Recruiters are trained by an REC approved provider. Also as a Criminal Record Bureaux registered body, Indigo Pink is able to carry out its own checks with minimum delay and maximum effect.
Indigo Pink is open from 8am until 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, and on Saturdays and in the evenings by appointment.
The offices are within easy reach of Worcester city centre and there is plenty of free parking.
