INTEREST AND LEISURE CLUB: In spite of a dull and wet start to the day the members set off in high spirits for their mystery outing appreciating lovely countryside and glowing autumnal colours of the trees.
Busy Burford soon came into view and then the coach travelled on to Bibury, Barnsley skirting Cirencester through to Stroud and Stonehouse arriving in Ryeford to have a splendid carvery lunch at The Ryeford Arms. During lunch the sun came out revealing lovely green hills across the valley.
The homeward journey was via Painswick going down Coopers Hill with amazing panoramic scenery for miles around. Soon returning to Moreton and Blockley.
The secretary Cliff Bradley gave a warm vote of thanks to Angela and Alan and driver Duncan for such a good day so enjoyed by everyone.
