SINGERS will be performing at a charity concert on Saturday to mark the 30th anniversary of the Wyre Forest Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The Kidderminster Valentines are holding their 10th fund-raising event of the year in aid of the society at St Anne's Church, Bewdley at 7.30pm.
Their concert will include songs by composers, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Karl Jenkins, as well as numbers from Les Miserables.
Sisters Claire and Beverley Worboys will also be performing at the concert, which will raise money to help the society continue giving help and advice to people with Multiple Sclerosis.
Actress and singer Claire, who has starred in television programmes including Dangerfield, as well as theatre productions - among them Hamlet and Macbeth - will be singing songs from the shows.
Currently based in Switzerland, Beverley has performed in productions including Andrew Lloyd Webber's Aspects of Love and Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert and Sullivan, as well operas and musicals.
Musical director of the Kidderminster Valentines, Pam Cunningham, said: "I am delighted that the Valentines are able to do so much charity work in the area and I think the MS Society is doing wonderful work for the community. It is a privilege to be involved. If anybody asks us to do charity work we will do it."
Society chairman, Barry Hawkins, said: "We are hoping it is a success."
Last month, the choir raised £600 for the Alzheimer's Society at a concert at Kidderminster Town Hall and also performed at Music For You.
Tickets are available from Bewdley Books and Maggies Florist in Bewdley and Hunters in Kidderminster. For further information, contact 01562 630193.
