MUSIC Live, the UK's largest music-making event returns to The NEC from Friday, November 4 until Sunday, November 6.
The event is for musicians of all persuasions, from those just starting out for fun to professionals working in the music industry.
Whether people play guitar or drums, produce dance music in home studios or are learning a brass or woodwind instrument, there will be plenty at Music Live 2005 to excite and inspire.
The Music Live experience has always been about getting the most from making music and a host of educational seminars covering playing techniques, making it in a band and the ins and outs of the record industry are a big part of the show.
This educational emphasis is particularly strong on Education Day with Access to Music and the Academy of Contemporary Music contributing to the seminar line-up.
Drum masterclasses are also part of the Music Live package with Jerry Brown (Ms Dynamite/Jamelia) and the Libertines' Gary Powell appearing in the Drum Room during the show.
There is also a live stage which promises to be full of some of the most talented musicians the UK has to offer.
Already scheduled to appear over the weekend are the hotly-tipped Reuben, all-girl punksters the Suffrajets, country-rockers Medicine Hat, and one of the world's most popular brass ensembles, Canadian Brass, on the Sunday.
Tickets purchased in advance are priced £12 adult and £6.50 child and tickets purchased on the door are priced £14 adult and £8.50 child.
Tickets can be purchased on-line at www.necgroup.co.uk/boxoffice or from The NEC Box Office on 0870 909 4133.
The Shuttle/Times and News has teamed up with the organisers to run a competition where five readers can each win a pair of tickets to the event.
To be in with a chance of winning, answer the following question:
Who is the drummer with Suffrajets?
The closing date is Monday, October 24.
