CHRISTMAS is coming a little early this year with the news that the Friends of Bromsgrove Festival will be presenting a Yuletide Concert in the chapel at Grafton Manor early in December.
They have arranged a programme of exciting seasonal music, songs and carols together with readings designed to suit all tastes.
The performers for Thursday, December 8, are the popular singing group 'Four in a Bar', David Gaukroger on piano and narrators Mark Lester and Graham Prestage.
The concert will start at 7pm prompt and there will be an interval buffet with a complimentary glass of wine, all for a ticket price of £20 per person.
Each year the Bromsgrove Festival attracts distinguished musicians both from the national and international world of music, with a wide-ranging programme designed to appeal to all tastes.
The festival organisers are also keen to promote opportunities for talented young musicians and the highly acclaimed and successful Young Musicians Platform provides just that showcase.
This year the Bromsgrove Festival celebrated its 25th young Musicians Platform. Indeed a number of past winners and runners-up have gone on to achieve international success.
This fundraising concert is to support the Bromsgrove Festival 2006 season.
