SOUTH London's The Turin Brakes - Olly Knights and Gale Paridjanian - will be stepping things up a gear as they take to the road next month. The pair, who met at school and released their Brixton-recorded third album JackInABox earlier this year, can be seen at Wolverhampton's Wulfrun Hall on Friday, November 4. Tickets are £15.
The new album comes hot on the heels of Ether Song, featuring the likes of Pain Killer, which they spent more than a year touring, supporting acts such as Coldplay. And with more than 500,000 albums now sold worldwide, they have come a long way since their debut, The Optimist LP, from 2001.
