Helen & I were very pleased to hear the good news that the Hospital Wards are safe, at least for the time being.
However we must all be well prepared to fight even harder, when the situation resurrects its ugly head again; and we feel sure it will!
Recently, one of our daughters had to admitted into Worcester Hospital with pneumonia & an acute kidney infection. As usual there were no beds available immediately, so she lay on a trolly in a cubicle for a number of hours, without even being offered a drink, etc, etc. The alternatives to the care at Evesham, should it ever close, does not bear thinking about, as Worcester just isn't equipped to cope with the demand.
As a resident of Evesham, we thank you all for your wonderful efforts.
Helen & Dick Rollings, Pershore Road, Evesham.
