UPTON'S Pepperpot Players delve into the past with their latest production.
What Did You Do In The War, Dad? features a versatile cast of children and adults performing sketches, songs and reminiscences, including many well-loved characters.
It takes the form of a revue set during the Second World War and promises to raise many a smile, and perhaps the odd tear, as it revisits turbulent times.
Members of the audience are encouraged to get into the swing of things by arriving in fancy dress. A prize will be awarded for the best period costume.
The production runs at Upton Memorial Hall from Thursday to Saturday, October 13 to 15, at 7.30pm.
Tickets are £6, to include a street party supper, song sheet and ration book, available from PS Presents in Old Street, Upton.
The Players will also be auditioning on Monday, October 17, at 7.30pm, for adult and child roles in their next pantomime, Robin Hood. The production will be staged in February 2006.
