AN exhibition of digitally enhanced images of Wyre Forest district scenery will be held at Kidderminster Library next month.
Claire Wass, 34, of Avocet Drive, will be exhibiting a collection of black and white images, which have been altered with different colours, from Saturday, October 29.
Her work, which will include floral and sunset images as well as photos of local scenery, including the Worcestershire and Staffordshire canal, has been produced with the help of her husband Jim, 36.
Mrs Wass, who is an administrative officer, said: "This is our first local exhibition. I feel quite lucky to be having this opportunity. It has been a great achievement.
"I wanted to get local response and they have got an excellent gallery which is in the centre of town so it is easy for people to drop in and visit the exhibition. People will also have the opportunity to buy photos."
She added there had been a lot of interest in the display, which the couple have been working on for two years.
The couple, who first became interested in photography eight years ago, designed Christmas cards for former Kidderminster Mayor, Councillor Helen Dyke two years ago.
Around 30 prints will be on display in the library's gallery from October 29 until November 19.
Kidderminster Library is open from 9.30am until 5.30pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 9.30am until 7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and from 9.30am until 4pm on Saturdays. Further information is available on 01562 824500.
