THE age of swing will be revisited at Stratford Civic Hall this Friday with a performance from The Dr Teeth Big Band.
The eight-piece, who all hail from Stratford-upon-Avon, will take to the stage with their mix of jazz, ska, rhythm and blues and jive.
As well as a second tour of the States, 2005 has also yielded a record contract for The Teeth with Big Bear Records and plans to release their first all-original CD.
A Civic Hall spokesman said: "Get your jive suits on, the Civic is going to be jumping."
The fun kicks of at 8pm, although jazz fans have the opportunity to take part in a cabaret style jump-jive workshop between 5.30 and 7pm. Tickets for the Rother Street gig are £12 for adults with concessions for students. Entrance for the workshop is £8.
