THE world's earliest recorded anti-war play tells the story of The Trojan Women - the captive women of Troy waiting to be taken as slaves by the conquering Greeks. Actors of the Dionysus are presenting a new version at The Roses Theatre in Tewkesbury, which while remaining faithful to the original work by written in 415BC by Euripides, is aimed firmly at a 21st century audience. The play is performed next Thursday at 7.30pm. It is aimed at an audience 14 and older. Contact the box office for tickets on 01684 295074
