JOHN Travolta returns in the role of the ultra cool filmmaker/music producer Chili Palmer in the follow-up to the hit movie Get Shorty.

Be Cool sees him once again teaming up with Uma Thurman for a stint on the dance floor just like they did in Pulp Fiction accept with more wrinkles and less agility in the old joints.

This is at times quite am amusing film but one thing really cast a shadow over proceedings - having to listen to Christina Milian warbling every five flamin' minutes!

This is supposed to be a comedy movie, not a really poor musical.

There is a really strong cast but the performances are diluted by a weak plot about a rising star in the world of music, and a limp script.

One surprise in Be Cool was the acting skills of "The Rock". He played his homosexual bodyguard character to absolute perfection.

With the talents of Harvey Keitel, Vince Vaughn, Danny DeVito and Steve Tyler - the ugliest man in music - Be Cool is actually quite an enjoyable watch but misses many potential opportunities for real comic moments.
