WORLD-renowned performer Carlo Curley will bring his organ spectacular to St Andrew's church in Ombersley on Friday, September 16.
In the night's highlight Mr Curley, nicknamed the 'Pavarotti of the organ', is set to enter a battle of the organs with Droitwich resident Keith Hearnshaw.
He will also be performing a whole host of music on his massive 'Allen Touring Organ', including works from Bach, Virgil Fox and other well known composers.
This is the second time that the artist has performed at St Andrew's, which is well known for its perfect acoustics for music. Mr Curley played a concert in Ombersley to raise money for the church's restoration in 1995.
Curley has given recitals on some of the world's most famous organs and has performed in the White House, the Winston Churchill Memorial Concert at Blenheim Palace and made recordings for the BBC.
Tickets for the night, known as Pimms and Pate night, cost £16 and can be booked by calling David Wood on 01905 452872.
The evening, which starts at 7.30pm, will also have an extensive buffet and Pimms starter.
Those attending are advised to bring cushions for the concert, while there will be closed screens to watch Curley.
