THE sweet melodic sounds of instrumental jazz will be coming to Malvern as the Gareth Hall Quintet get set to stage a concert in the town.
The group - who will be playing as a duo - combine historic standards from the 50s to the present day with some exciting originals as featured on their new live EP.
The gig is due to take place on Sunday, September 19, at the Lamb Inn, on West Malvern Road, and audiences can expect some interesting time signatures and Latin influences in the new material, alongside bluesy influences from their standards repertoire.
The band is based in Cardiff and its members are drawn from a variety of musical backgrounds including folk and rock, led by the experienced pianist Gareth Hall.
The gig starts at 4pm and entry is free.
