ROCK band The Ferret Convention sang their hearts out for charity in a fund-raising gig in Evesham over the Bank Holiday Weekend, helping to raise £900 for the Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust.
The gig was held at The Railway Hotel in the town, on Saturday, and was organised by the band's manager Jill Goldstrong.
The proceeds from the night are set to be further boosted by a donation from Barclay's Bank.
Sue Sollis, founder of the Tracy Sollis Leukaemia Trust, said the amount raised had exceeded all expectations.
"I'm absolutely thrilled with the generosity of all concerned," she said.
"I believe this is the most money the Railway Hotel has ever raised for a charity in an evening.
"My grateful thanks go to the landlords and the Ferret Convention who performed magnificently."
The Railway Hotel provides free live entertainment every Friday and Saturday evening.
