EVERYONE will be going Aussie-mad when an Australian film extravaganza takes place during the Worcester Festival.
Movie buffs will be able to enjoy Strictly Ballroom, Rabbit-Proof Fence and comic hit the Dish when the movies are screened at The Swan Theatre, The Moors, Worcester.
Strictly Ballroom follows Scott Hastings, a champion ballroom dancer, and Fran, a shy beginner dancer, who becomes Scott's partner after his unorthodox style causes his regular partner to dance out of his life.
It takes place on Monday, August 16.
The heart-rending Rabbit-Proof Fenceis being shown on Friday, August 20.
It is the story of Molly Craig a young black half-caste Aboriginal girl who leads her sister and cousin in an escape from an official government camp, set up as part of an official government policy to train them as domestic workers and integrate them into white society.
The film the Dish, is set in July 1969 when Apollo 11's astronauts walked on the moon.
A huge satellite dish is placed outside a sheep-farming Australian town to beam the footage live globally and the whole world is depending on scientist Cliff Buxton and his eccentric crew.

The film will be shown on Wednesday, August 25.
All the films start at 7.30pm, and the tickets are £5, or £4 concessions for each film.
There is ticket price of £11, or £9 concessions per person if you book all three films for the festival.
