A SPECTACULAR show of lights, lasers and special effects will provide the backdrop to this year's acclaimed Classical Spectacular at Birmingham's National Indoor Arena.
More than 250 performers are involved in the concert of all concerts on Saturday, December, 4, featuring Ravel's Bolero, Rossini's William Tell Overture, O Fortuna from Carmina Burana and Puccini's Nessun Dorma, to name a few.
Much-loved classics Jerusalem, Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory should also have audiences humming in the aisles.
But the piece de resistance will undoubtedly be the dramatic 1812 Overture with thundering muskets and cannons and an explosive indoor fireworks and laser show designed by Durham Marenghi.
The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Anthony Inglis, will be joined by the English Concert Chorus, Band of the Welsh Guards and Muskets & Cannons of the Moscow Militia.
Tickets are available on 0870 909 4144 or online at www.necgroup.co.uk/boxoffice.
Patrons are advised to book early as the show has sold out for the last two years.
