THE enchanting, magical tale of The Snow Queen is providing some post-Christmas midwinter entertainment in Malvern.
The Malvern Theatre Players, the resident amateur company at Malvern Theatres, is staging the show at the Forum Theatre from next Thursday until January 22.
The story has been adapted from Hans Christian Andersen's classic original and had songs interwoven for the stage version.
It follows the adventures of Gerda and her search for her faithful companion Kay after he is bewitched and imprisoned by the Snow Queen in her ice palace.
She is joined by comedy crows Cosmo and Cora and a host of wonderful characters on her journey to the wicked queen's lair.
Contact the box office for information on 01684 892277. Tickets are £8 or £5 for under 16s and it starts at 7pm, with 2pm matinees on January 15 and 22.
