Stourbridge based publishing company Surge Music may have scored a success during the summer.
Top producer Paul Tipler has just finished working with Surge act Vender.
Paul has previously worked with The Wonder Stuff, Moby, Placebo and Pop Will Eat Itself.
Surge boss Jonn Penney reckons the collaboration, on three new songs, has bought out the best in the Midlands group.
He said: "Mr Tipler has faithfully captured their unique sound. These songs are a perfect introduction, setting the standard for the future of Vender."
After comparisons with Coldplay and The Doves, Logo magazine said: "That Vender sound nothing like these acts is an achievement; that they sound like they could produce work more important than them is startling."
Vender will be on stage at The Robin 2, Mount Pleasant, Bilston, on Thursday October 21.
