THE festive season is carrying on this weekend in Clows Top with the performance of a traditional Norwegian tale.
The play, East O' The Sun, West O' The Moon, is being performed for children aged five and over at Clows Top Victory Hall on Saturday at 7.30pm and is the first production of its kind at the venue, according to committee member, David Phillips.
The show is performed by two actors using shadows behind a screen and sees a mystical white bear invite a young girl to his ice palace, offering her everything she wants except conversation.
The girl's curiosity then helps her to discover the bear is a bewitched prince whom she must rescue from a band of trolls.
Mr Phillips said the venue had a capacity of around 160 and he hoped to sell as many tickets as possible.
The play is part of the Shindig scheme, which is subsidised by Worcestershire County Council and its district counterparts.
Tickets can be obtained by calling 01299 832637.
