The sixth Wye Valley Chamber Music Festival opens this weekend, with concerts in St Briavels Church, Wyastone concert hall, Ross-on-Wye Baptist Church and the Bishop's Palace in Hereford.
This year's line-up of musicians is a mix of well-loved artists who have been regular visitors to the Wye Valley and new faces.
Horn player Tim Jackson and flautist Robert Manasse will be performing at the Festival for the first time, as will be several string players including Jonathan Cohen and James Boyd, both members of the London Haydn Quartet.
Other artists re-turning to join artistic directors Fiona McNaught and Daniel Tong are members of the Kungsbacka Trio, Dante Quartet, Leopold String Trio and Nash Ensemble.
All of the musicians are regularly heard at major venues across the UK and abroad, including London's Wigmore Hall and South Bank Centre.
