THE new season at The Courtyard arts centre brings Julian Lloyd Webber, Tony Robinson and Jack Dee to the Hereford stage.
Audience members can quiz actor and comedian Tony Robinson on Tuesday, February 1, when he appears in his Cunning Night Out show. Tickets are £15 (concs £13). Deadpan comedian Jack Dee performs his brand new show on Wednesday, January 26, and tickets are £20.
On Monday, February 21, Julian Lloyd Webber will perform a range of music to demonstrate the cello's repertoire, accompanied by pianist Rebecca Woolcock. Tickets are £17.
Plays at The Courtyard include a crime fiction musical, Something's Afoot, from Tuesday to Saturday, January 18-22, for which tickets are £8-£12. Also being staged is Ben Elton's Popcorn from Wednesday to Saturday, January 26-29. Tickets are £8 (concs £7).
Hereford Gilbert and Sullivan Society presents The Pirates of Penzance from Tuesday to Saturday, March 1-5 and tickets range from £9-£12. For children, The Sooty Show Wet and Wild Tour plays on Sunday, January 30, tickets are £7.50 for adults and £5.50 for children.
Baroque music enthusiasts should enjoy the Academy of Ancient Music's Baroque Doubles on Saturday, January 15. Tickets are from £8-£22.
The Onyx Brass Quintet, comprising five National Orchestra principals, will be playing at the Courtyard on Thursday, January 27. Tickets are £14, seniors £12, students £2.
Antiques expert Eric Knowles presents his Antiques Antics on Wednesday, February 23. Eric has appeared on the BBC's Antiques Roadshow for more than 20 years and will explore the mysteries of the antiques world. Tickets are £14 (concs £12).
