A JAZZ trumpeter from New Orleans will be playing at Cradley Village Hall on Friday, January 14.
Organiser Alan Robinson said Chris Tyle requested to play in the historic black and white building after hearing of its reputation as a jazz venue.
This will be the 20th jazz concert Mr Robinson has organised to raise funds for the village hall. He said it would be a special occasion.
"Chris Tyle is now recognised and revered by jazz enthusiasts throughout the world as a superb trumpet player in the great New Orleans tradition," he said.
Mr Robinson said that at 49, Chris was young in the jazz world and was a dynamic, exciting player entering his prime.
Supporting him are the Gambit Jazzmen, who Mr Robinson described as one of Britain's finest.
Tickets are selling fast for the event but a few are available. They are £8.50 adults, £4.25 under-16s on 01886 880016. Doors open 7.30pm and the concert begins at 8.15pm.
The audience can bring their own refreshments and tea, coffee, soft drinks and rolls will be on sale.
