Gran Turismo 4 "Prologue"

Gamers can expect what can be described as "diet" Gran Turismo or a glorified demo. Glorified it certainly is for it sports five full arcade courses and a huge "school mode", where gamers complete training and unlock cars to race in arcade mode.

After the basic training has been completed, gamers are treated to advanced training in the form of races against cars and overtaking. Even within the training there are "coffee breaks," which consist of knocking down road cones as fast as possible, the further one advances into the game the tougher the coffee breaks! From the very beginning gamers know that they are in for a treat, graphically GT4 Prologue is amazing, the cars are visually perfect and crowd members realistically move about.

The main drawbacks are the lack of a two player mode and no opponent cars to race against. Sadly cars still do not suffer damage, although there have been rumours that GT4 may allow gamers to damage vehicles!

GT4 is undoubtedly going to surpass all previous Gran Turismo offerings, and for £24.99 Gran Turismo 4 "Prologue" is not a bad buy.
