TALENTED and musically-minded people are being asked to come forward to fill two slots in an up-and-coming band.

A bassist and a singer are needed to complete a line-up for a duo, who have already written a selection of songs and have a date to record an EP in a month.

Carl Lynch and Scott Ledbury have already had interest shown from further afield in the Midlands but are now looking for musicians from Bromsgrove so they can practise regularly and they have decided to turn to the Advertiser/Messenger for help in their search.

Carl said: "We can record the EP by both of us doubling up on instruments, but obviously we can't play live which is what we really want to do."

He added: "We've got all the material written already."

Scott said: "In an ideal world we would find someone who could sing and play bass guitar, but we would be happy with two people as well."

The duo cites their three main influences as The Who, The Stone Roses and Oasis, and are looking to find people who are into the same music as them.
