THE daughter of jazz legends Sir John Dankworth and Dame Cleo Laine, Jacqui Dankworth has been brought up on the road.
Now a sought-after performer in her own right, she combines her own distinctive vocal style with her rich heritage and is enjoying plenty of success.
She sang the titles for the film Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, the theme tune for two series of Coming Alive on BBC Radio 4, has guested on Gloria Hunniford's Open House and Esther on BBC2 and has toured and recorded with the Brodsky Quartet.
She has played at a number of local venues recently and next week adds Worcester's Huntingdon Hall to her list.
See her at Worcester's Huntingdon Hall on Friday, January 21, at 8pm. Contact the box office on 01905 611427 or visit www.huntingdonarts.com for ticket details.
