I AM writing in response to the comments regarding our proposal to introduce music in our public offices.
We have introduced the scheme at our Pershore Office as a pilot to gauge public opinion.
The idea actually came from customers who felt that it would improve confidentiality and help to make the atmosphere more relaxing and less intimidating.
Rather than using piped muzak staff have a selection of suitable CD's to choose from and it is not costing anything. Staff have donated their own CD's and player and Wychavon already have the appropriate licences.
So far we have received a very positive response to the idea but will certainly be taking all comments on board before we make a final decision on extending the scheme to our Contact Centres in Evesham and Droitwich.
