A BROMSGROVE girl hit the big time this week as her band reached the top twenty in the charts.
Twenty-four-year-old Hannah Lewis was thrilled to discover her group, Pop!, who are being billed as the new Steps, reached the number 16 in the top 40 countdown with their latest single, Serious. Hannah left Bromsgrove when she was 18-years-old, and following dance and arts training is now living the high life after she was spotted by top record producer Pete Waterman.
Hannah went to Leeds University for a year and then onto Nottingham University for three years to study contemporary arts, dance and performance. She then entered a competition called It's You On TV, coming second out of 16,000 people.
Following her success in the competition Hannah moved to London to give TV presenting a bash and she co-hosted an MTV show with comedian Richard Blackwood.
But the ex-North Bromsgrove High School pupil's true dream was to sing and dance. She went for the Pop! audition and now the sexy star is well on her way to achieving her pop dreams.
